Shows for kids,
and adults



Lancaster has several theaters with shows that both children and adults will enjoy. Four of them are described elsewhere on this site so I won't repeat them here. Just click on one of these links to read about them. The only advice I can give is the obvious, see what is being performed during your visit and decide if it is appropriate for your children. The three large theaters are all discussed in the Three Major Theaters.

The Hole in the Wall Puppet Theatre specializes in marionette performances in its seventy seat theater, but characters may also be hand, shadow, or rod puppets. Attendance is appropriate for children who can sit quietly for 35 minutes; separate performances are presented during the evening for those over 21, and they run 50 to 60 minutes.
