DINNER THEATER

Another sub-category of live theater is dinner theater and there are two in the area: the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre and the Rainbow Dinner Theatre. As I think is probably true everywhere, you go there to have fun while you enjoy dinner; they aren't noted for fine dining. Such is the case with our two venues. The performances are very good and the food is served buffet style with adequate but not extensive choices.

Of the two theaters Joan and I give a slight edge to the Dutch Apple. I'm not sure quite why that's the case; perhaps because it's larger size gives the impression that it's better, that it offers shows more to our liking, or maybe just because it's closer to our home.

That isn't to say that the Rainbow isn't as good, it probably is and has an added attraction, an associated restaurant next door for another evening, Revere's Tavern. Whichever one you choose you'll be very likely to enjoy it. Learn more about them by clicking on the Dutch Apple's picture above or the Rainbow's poster to the left.
